About Me:
Stacey brings a diverse background to her current pursuit of a degree in Biomedical Sciences and Epidemiology. Her career began in private hospitals across Sydney, where she excelled as a Patient Coordinator, managing patient recovery in a fast-paced environment. She further honed her skills working in one of the largest public hospitals in the ACT. Transitioning from healthcare, Stacey studied to become a Learning Aid Assistant for the education department and later ventured into Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and facilities management. Despite these diverse roles, her passion for medicine remained strong, prompting her return to the field she loves. In addition to her academic pursuits, Stacey is a fully qualified NSWRL concussion management professional and dedicates her time to volunteering as a manager, coach, and club first aid officer for GUFC. She has significant experience working with young children and enjoys spending quality time with her husband and young kids. Outside of work, Stacey is an avid hiker, bike rider, and seeker of new adventures.
